About Faith Daniel

Faith Daniel is a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) student at the NYU School of Global Public Health, a public health professional and activist. She currently serves as a Project Manager for two grant-funded initiatives: New York City Treats Tobacco (NYCTT) and Stewards in the Storm – COVID-19 Pandemic Backlash and Public Health.


Faith earned her Master of Public Health (MPH) from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, where she concentrated in Population and Family Health and completed a certificate in Health Policy Analysis and Practice. In recognition of her longstanding commitment to reproductive and social justice advocacy, she was named a Lion of Social Justice by Columbia University in 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Bryn Mawr College, where she graduated magna cum laude and double minored in Health Studies and Gender & Sexuality Studies.


Professionally, Faith spent four years as a manager in the Marketing and Communications Department at SBH Health System, where she was actively involved in the institution’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. In 2022, she received SBH Health System’s LGBTQIA+ Advocacy and Leadership Award for her contributions to advancing equity and inclusion.


A Bronx native and the daughter of immigrants from Nevis, Faith is a fierce advocate for reproductive justice, LGBTQIA+ rights, and health equity. Her work centers on advancing community-informed public health solutions and addressing structural inequities within health systems.
